Week 4: MAGICAL MYTHS AND TALES (Virtual)

October 26-30 (Monday-Friday)

Dive into some legendary lore in this week of Artventures! We’ll explore fantastical stories, spooky ghouls, adventurous tales of far away lands, and some from not so far away as well! Students will have a chance to create their own visionary legends and bring them to life. Projects include sculpture, painting, mixed-media and diorama art. In this virtual format, students will receive a number of lessons to work on at home, along with a recommended materials list. The teacher will begin each day with a video introduction to the activities via Zoom. Students will also engage with the teacher and their classmates in real-time group activities and conclude the week with a group Show and Tell! Video Sessions: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 3:30-5:00PM
