Scratch-Art Scratchboards

Scratchboards consist of boards of various thicknesses coated with a white fine china clay. After inking this surface with an opaque black (usually India ink), the user then can create black and white drawings by scratching through the top black coating to expose the white of the clay beneath. A special scratch knife, point or other tool can be used to produce lines, textures, etc. The economical scratchboard for all! Available in regular white (user must coat) or pre-inked black (ready for immediate use). An excellent student grade which scratches easily with standard scratching tools.
